Hyderabad Police Book Man, Seize MG Cyberster After Minor Drives It on ORR

The Hyderabad traffic police have booked a man and seized his luxury car after a viral video surfaced online showing his minor son driving the vehicle on the Rajendranagar stretch of the Outer Ring Road (ORR). The police initiated action following public complaints regarding the incident, which was reported on June 19, 2026.

The vehicle involved in the incident was identified as an MG Cyberster. Netizens had shared video footage of the minor boy operating the luxury car on social media, prompting widespread concern from the public.

Upon receiving the information and analyzing the viral video, the Hyderabad traffic police formed a special team to track down the vehicle and identify its owner. The team successfully traced the luxury car and its owner.

Following the investigation, the police seized the MG Cyberster and booked a formal case against the father for allowing his minor son to drive the car on the busy expressway.

The traffic police have appealed to the public, urging parents and guardians not to hand over vehicles to minor children. The authorities emphasized that allowing minors to drive is highly dangerous, as it endangers the lives of the children themselves as well as the safety of other motorists on the road.
