Hyderabad Police Arrest 4 in Begum Bazar for Selling Bodybuilding Injections

The Task Force Golconda unit along with the Goshamahal Police arrested four persons in Begum Bazar on Friday for allegedly procuring, supplying, selling, and consuming Mephentermine Sulphate injections used for bodybuilding.
The arrested individuals were identified as Gowtham Singh, R Abhilash, Siddesh Aundekar, and Daksh Upadhyay.
According to police officials, Gowtham allegedly procured the Mephentermine Sulphate injections from a supplier based in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, at a cost of Rs 160 per vial. He then colluded with Abhilash to sell the vials to customers at an inflated rate of Rs 900 each.
The four accused were caught in the Begum Bazar locality while allegedly attempting to sell the injections directly to customers.
During the raid and subsequent arrests, police seized 50 vials of Mephentermine Sulphate, along with insulin injections, empty vials, and mobile phones. The total value of the seized material and devices is estimated at Rs 1.85 lakh.
The Goshamahal Police are currently conducting further investigations into the case.
