Hyderabad Police Announce Traffic Diversions Around Charminar for Milad-un-Nabi

The Hyderabad traffic police have announced widespread traffic diversions and restrictions across several major routes, including Charminar, on Wednesday to facilitate the annual Milad-un-Nabi peace procession.

According to the traffic advisory, the restrictions will be in force from 10 am to 11 pm. Vehicular movement will be halted or redirected as required at multiple key intersections and corridors along the procession path to ensure smooth movement and avoid congestion.

Key junctions and stretches where traffic will be regulated or diverted include Falaknuma, Engine Bowli, Nagulchinta X Road, Himmatpura Junction, Haribowli, Charminar, Gulzar Houz, Pattarghatti, Madina Junction, Nayapul, Darulshifa, Purani Haveli, Mir Alam Mandi, Etebar Chowk, Alijah Kotla, Bibi Bazar, Volta Hotel, Afzalgunj T Junction, MJ Market Junction, Nampally T Junction, and Haj House, among others.

Authorities have advised motorists and regular commuters to steer clear of the specified routes and junctions during the 13-hour restriction window between 10 am and 11 pm. Travelers are encouraged to utilize alternate roads to reach their destinations without facing unexpected delays.
