Hyderabad E-Champions Defeat Anvita Khammam Aces by 56 Runs to Extend Unbeaten Run

On Monday night, the Hyderabad E-Champions extended their unbeaten run at the top of the Sreenidhi University TG20 League with a dominant 56-run victory over the Anvita Khammam Aces at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad.
The E-Champions posted a formidable total of 211/9 in their 20 overs before restricting the Aces to 155/9. The win also saw Hyderabad skipper Abhirath Reddy climb to the top of the Orange Cap standings with 252 total runs, while teammate Ajay Dev Goud claimed the Purple Cap with 10 wickets.
Batting first, the E-Champions recovered from a watchful start thanks to an explosive opening partnership between Sai Vikas Reddy and Abhirath Reddy. Abhirath led the charge, smashing 59 runs off just 26 balls, including a 24-run onslaught in the fifth over, before being dismissed by Ved Reddy.
Sai Vikas and Anvith Reddy kept the momentum going, guiding the team past the 100-run mark in the 11th over. Ganesh Gadugu then accelerated the innings with a quickfire 44 off 21 balls, hitting two sixes off Vidyananda Reddy. Despite a late batting collapse, a contribution of 18 runs from Pranav Varma helped Hyderabad reach 211. Ved Reddy and Sahendra Mallu took two wickets each for the Aces.
In response, the Anvita Khammam Aces struggled early on, losing GSK Reddy in the second over. Wafi Kachchhi made a brief contribution of 21 runs off 15 balls before being dismissed by K. Sriniketh. The Aces reached 50/2 at the end of the powerplay but continued to lose wickets regularly.
Himateja Kodimela fought back with an aggressive 65 runs, keeping the chase alive with support from Prateek Reddy. However, the E-Champions' bowlers proved too disciplined. Ajay Dev Goud dismissed Sahendra Mallu in the 18th over, and Ganesh Gadugu closed out the game by taking two wickets in the final over, restricting the Aces to 155/9.
K. Sriniketh was named the player of the match for his impressive bowling figures of 3/28.
