Hyderabad Draft Voter List Published With 27.95 Lakh Electors Under SIR

The draft electoral rolls for Hyderabad district were published on Monday with a total of 27,95,225 electors under the Special Intensive Revision 2026, according to Hyderabad District Election Officer RV Karnan.
Speaking at an all-party meeting held in Hyderabad on Monday, Karnan announced that the draft photo electoral rolls covering 15 Assembly constituencies across the district were published in the format prescribed under Form-5, in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960.
Among the 27,95,225 registered electors in the draft list, 14,08,513 are female, 13,86,536 are male, and 176 are third-gender electors. The district currently has 4,094 polling stations set up across 1,710 polling station locations.
Karnan urged citizens to verify their details in the draft rolls, which are accessible at Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) offices, on the Election Commission of India website, on the Chief Electoral Officer Telangana website, or via the Voter Helpline App.
Electors seeking inclusion, deletion, or correction of particulars can submit claims and objections on or before September 16. Submissions must be made using Form-6, Form-7, or Form-8, along with the required Declaration Form for Form-6 and Form-8.
According to the final Special Intensive Revision digitisation data shared by Karnan, a total of 47,36,669 enumeration forms were distributed across the district. Of these, 27,95,225 forms (59.01 per cent) were digitised, comprising 7,98,547 self-digitised forms (28.57 per cent) and 14,14,461 progeny forms (50.60 per cent).
The remaining 19,41,444 electors (40.99 per cent) were categorised under uncollectable or absent, shifted, and dead (ASD) records. Among these uncollectable forms, 13,45,333 electors had shifted (69.30 per cent), 2,99,850 were absent (15.44 per cent), 1,56,392 were deceased (8.06 per cent), 99,264 were duplicate entries (5.11 per cent), and 40,605 fell under other categories (2.09 per cent). Anomalies were also recorded in 6,72,700 enumeration forms.
