Hyderabad Cops Seize Hashish Oil Worth Rs 1.75 Crore at Gowrelly X Road

The LB Nagar Special Operations Team and Nagole police busted an interstate drug trafficking operation at Gowrelly X Road in Hyderabad on Friday, seizing 14.2 kilograms of hashish oil valued at approximately Rs 1.75 crore.

Police arrested two men during routine vehicle checks after intercepting a motorcycle. The suspects were identified as T Nagaraju and N Narayana, also known as Kiran, both residents of Alluri Sitarama Raju district in Andhra Pradesh.

During interrogation, the suspects revealed that the contraband had been supplied by T Gopal, a resident of Singavaram village in the Malkangiri district of Odisha. Gopal had handed over two bags containing roughly 7 kilograms of hashish oil each for delivery to contacts in Hyderabad.

Investigators stated that Gopal had promised to pay Rs 1 lakh to each of the couriers for transporting the illicit consignment. To evade law enforcement checkpoints along major highways, the two men traveled across state lines using interior village roads on their motorcycle.

According to police officials, the exact delivery locations and recipients were scheduled to be shared with the duo only after they reached Hyderabad.

Nagole police confirmed that both Nagaraju and Narayana had previous records of involvement in narcotics offenses. A manhunt is underway to apprehend Gopal, who remains absconding, and investigators are working to trace the local consumer network and end buyers linked to the racket.
