Hyderabad Collector Distributes ₹4.5 Crore Compensation To Seven Landowners

The Hyderabad district administration on Monday distributed compensation cheques worth approximately ₹4.5 crore to seven landowners whose properties were acquired for the Rajiv Rahadari (SH-01) Elevated Corridor project. The distribution took place at the collectorate in Hyderabad, marking a significant step in the land acquisition and compensation process for the major infrastructure project.
District Collector Dr. Priyanka Ala led the distribution event, handing over the compensation cheques directly to the project-affected families. The program was attended by several key administrative officials, including Additional Collector (Revenue) Kadiravan Palani, District Revenue Officer Narayana, and Land Acquisition Officer Aparna, alongside other officials and the landowners.
Speaking at the collectorate, District Collector Dr. Priyanka Ala stated that the administration is focused on ensuring the timely disbursal of compensation to all individuals who are affected by key infrastructure projects in the region. She highlighted that such timely payments are essential to maintaining the trust of the public and ensuring the smooth progress of public works.
The Rajiv Rahadari Elevated Corridor is among the key infrastructure projects being taken up by the administration to improve overall connectivity and ease traffic movement along the busy SH-01 route. By acquiring the necessary land and compensating the owners, the government aims to expedite the construction phase of the elevated corridor.
The seven landowners who received their compensation cheques on Monday expressed their satisfaction with the administration's handling of the process. Officials present at the event, including Land Acquisition Officer Aparna and District Revenue Officer Narayana, assisted in facilitating the distribution to ensure that the beneficiaries received their dues without unnecessary delay.
With the land acquisition process moving forward through these compensation payments, the administration expects the Rajiv Rahadari Elevated Corridor project to progress efficiently. The project remains a priority for improving transit and traffic flow along the SH-01 highway, benefiting commuters and local residents.
