HIMTEX 2026 Machine Tool Exhibition Opens at HITEX in Madhapur

The ninth edition of the Hyderabad International Machine Tool & Engineering Exhibition, known as HIMTEX 2026, was inaugurated at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Madhapur, Hyderabad. The event was formally opened by Swathi Chalamalasetty, Director of Ace Urban Group & AM Green, alongside Rajesh Kumar Yadav, Additional Director of MSME DFO, Hyderabad.

The five-day industrial exhibition is scheduled to run until August 24. It has brought together around 300 exhibitors from across the country and is projected to attract more than 20,000 visitors from across India during its five-day run.

HIMTEX 2026 focuses on modern industrial technologies, presenting advancements in machine tools, robotics, engineering solutions, and industrial automation. The event serves as a platform connecting leading manufacturers, technology providers, industry experts, and decision-makers from the manufacturing sector.

According to the organisers, the gathering offers industry participants opportunities to explore cutting-edge technologies, develop strategic business partnerships, and identify new commercial opportunities across the broader manufacturing ecosystem.

Speaking on the occasion, Kuna Shankar, Director of HITEX, highlighted the growth of the exhibition over the years. He stated that HIMTEX has evolved into one of India’s progressive industrial exhibitions and continues to play a significant role in strengthening the manufacturing ecosystem of Telangana as well as neighbouring states.
