Health Minister Rajanarsimha Reviews Govt and Private IVF Centers

Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha held a review meeting on Monday at the Secretariat in Hyderabad to assess the functioning and performance of both government and private In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) centers operating across the state.
During the meeting, the Minister examined the operational efficiency of existing IVF centers and discussed key aspects concerning their oversight. A primary focus of the review was the effective regulation of private IVF centers, alongside strategies for the expansion of government-run IVF facilities.
Senior health administration officials attended the high-level review at the Secretariat. Among those present were Principal Secretary Christina Jad, Health and Family Welfare Commissioner Sangeeta Satyanarayana, and Director of Public Health Ravinder Naik.
State IVF Nodal Officer Dr. Sumitra, along with other senior department officials, also participated in the discussions regarding service standards, institutional compliance, and the development of public fertility care infrastructure.
