Harish Rao Honours Siddipet Native Uday Nagaraju on UK House of Lords Election

Former minister and BRS deputy floor leader T. Harish Rao felicitated Siddipet native Uday Nagaraju at Vipanchi Kala Nilayam in Siddipet on Wednesday following Nagaraju's election to the UK House of Lords.

Speaking at the civic felicitation, Harish Rao stated that Nagaraju's election to the British Parliament was a matter of pride for Indians and Telugu-speaking people worldwide. He highlighted that the 47-year-old leader is the first person from the two Telugu-speaking states to be elected to the UK legislature.

Harish Rao described Nagaraju's journey from a small rural village to the British Parliament as a prime example of what can be achieved through hard work, perseverance, and determination. Urging young people to draw inspiration from his achievement, Harish Rao remarked that every individual possesses extraordinary potential that can be unlocked through dedication and effort.

Recalling Nagaraju's past contributions, Harish Rao noted that he had actively supported the Telangana statehood movement from London during the height of the agitation, contributing meaningfully to the cause of his motherland while people were participating in the movement in Telangana.
