Gujarat native Rahim Bhai found dead in Kompally home after struggling with unemployment

A 30-year-old man from Gujarat, Rahim Bhai, was found dead on Saturday night at his residence at High Vision Residency in Kompally, Hyderabad, after reportedly struggling with unemployment and health issues.

The deceased, Rahim Bhai, was a 30-year-old unemployed man who had been residing at the Kompally apartment with his sister for the last two years prior to the incident.

According to the Petbasheerabad police, the discovery of his death was made after Rahim Bhai’s sister returned home from her workplace on Saturday night. The police reported that she had left the residence for work earlier in the day, at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.

When she returned to the apartment at around 10:00 p.m. that night, she found that the entrance door to the home was latched from the inside. After receiving no response to her knocks and calls, she sought assistance from neighbours living in the same building.

The neighbours assisted her by removing a window grill to gain entry into the locked apartment. Upon entering the residence, they found Rahim Bhai dead inside.

Following the discovery, the Petbasheerabad police were notified of the incident. The preliminary investigation conducted by the police suggests that Rahim Bhai had been struggling with unemployment and health-related issues. Officers stated that they believe he may have taken the extreme step of ending his life due to despondency over his circumstances.

The Petbasheerabad police have officially registered a case regarding the incident and have initiated a further investigation to determine the exact circumstances leading to the death.
