GRIET Celebrates 26th Graduation Day in Hyderabad, Honours Academic Achievers

Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology (GRIET) celebrated its 26th graduation day ceremony in Hyderabad, conferring degrees on graduating students and presenting gold medals to top academic performers across departments.

The ceremony marked the successful completion of courses for the graduating batch. Gold medals were formally awarded to students who demonstrated outstanding academic excellence in their respective fields of study during their academic tenure at the institute.

Speaking at the event, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTU-Hyderabad) Rector Prof. A. Damodaram addressed the gathering, stating that education has consistently served as a powerful catalyst in transforming individuals, societies, and nations.

Prof. Damodaram highlighted that the character of capable graduates inspires confidence, while their innovations carry the potential to bring transformative changes to society. He noted that their accomplishments will play a significant role in contributing to the broader national vision of building a developed India by 2047.

Dr. T Shaila Kumar, head of Neurealm AI and Data Analytics, also addressed the graduates, underscoring the critical need for continuous learning, skill enhancement, and staying abreast of emerging technologies.

Dr. Kumar pointed out that to excel in the competitive IT and ITES sectors, students must build proficiency in cutting-edge advancements, specifically mentioning Generative AI and Agentic AI. He observed that the influence of artificial intelligence is projected to expand considerably over the next decade. He urged the new graduates to actively embrace these emerging technologies and consistently upgrade their capabilities to succeed in their future careers.
