Golconda Police Arrest Film Director Pavan Sadineni in Marriage Fraud Case

The Golconda police have arrested Telugu film director Pavan Sadineni for allegedly duping a woman by promising to marry her after maintaining a live-in relationship.
According to the police, the 40-year-old filmmaker, a resident of Narsingi, entered into a live-in relationship with the complainant after assuring her that he would provide her with better roles in movies. Along with the career assurances, he had also promised to marry her.
The victim stated in her complaint that Pavan subsequently began ignoring her, which prompted her to seek legal action and lodge a formal complaint with the police.
Following the receipt of the complaint, the Golconda police registered a case against Pavan under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and arrested him.
Golconda Inspector P Saidulu confirmed that the film director was produced before the court, remanded to judicial custody, and is presently lodged in Chanchalguda prison.
Pavan made his directorial debut in the Telugu film industry in 2013. Over the course of his career, he has directed movies such as 'Prem Ishq Kadal' and 'Akasamlo Okatara', as well as several web series. He is currently directing an upcoming film starring Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan.
