GHMC Urges Hyderabad Temples to Join Project Udvasana for Disposing Damaged Idols

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has invited temples across Hyderabad to join hands in implementing Project Udvasana, an initiative designed for the respectful disposal of religious items.
Through this project, devotees can hand over old deity photographs, damaged puja frames, worn-out idols, and other related materials so they can be disposed of respectfully.
According to a statement from the civic body, temple committees interested in partnering with the GHMC for Project Udvasana can register online through the designated portal at https://rextract.in/udvasana/temple/.
The initiative aims to provide a dedicated channel for temples and citizens to ensure sacred materials and damaged idols are handled with appropriate care across the city.
