GHMC Commissioner Inspects Moosarambagh Bridge and Nalgonda Flyover Works

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner R.V. Karnan, IAS, inspected the Moosarambagh Bridge and Nalgonda Flyover project sites to review the progress of infrastructure works in the city.
During the site visit, the Commissioner reviewed the Moosarambagh Bridge, where construction works have now been completed. Karnan instructed civic officials to ensure all necessary arrangements are kept ready for the bridge's formal inauguration. He was accompanied during the inspection by the GHMC Chief Engineer, the Assistant Commissioner for Sanitation, and other municipal officials.
At the Nalgonda Flyover, the Commissioner assessed the remaining construction stages. While the main structure of the flyover has already been completed, Karnan directed the engineering teams to finish the A4 up-ramp by Sunday. He also set a deadline of two to three days for the completion of the A3-side ramp heading towards Champapet.
Once opened to the public, the flyover is slated to provide major traffic relief in the busy corridor. The new infrastructure is expected to ease vehicular congestion and ensure smoother travel for daily commuters travelling through Chanchalguda, Saidabad, Santosh Nagar, IS Sadan, Owaisi Hospital, Kanchan Bagh, Champapet, and Sagar Road.
