Ghasi Bazaar Collector Receives First ₹100 Coloured Make In India Coin

Senior coin collector Rajkumar Agrawal, a resident of Ghasi Bazaar in Hyderabad, has received the inaugural set of a new ₹100 coloured commemorative coin issued by the Government of India. The release marks ten years of the Make in India initiative, which was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The issuance marks the first time a coin issued by the government features a coloured design. Agrawal, who is renowned nationwide for his expertise and passion for numismatics, confirmed that the Special Edition Set was minted at the India Government Mint in Kolkata.

The collector set includes an acrylic cut-out featuring the iconic Make in India lion logo. Mounted inside the cut-out are two coins, displaying both the obverse and reverse sides of the design.

The entire inaugural set is presented in an elegant jute box, adding to its collectible appeal.
