Gachibowli Police Arrest Man for Possessing Multiple Passports Used for US Visas

The Gachibowli police have arrested a man for allegedly possessing multiple Indian passports issued under different names and dates of birth, which were reportedly used to submit applications for US visas.

The accused has been identified as Mothukpalli Lakshmikanth Reddy. According to investigators, the arrest followed an examination of passport records obtained from the Regional Passport Office as well as documentation gathered from the US Consulate.

Official records allegedly revealed that the accused operated under several identities and held multiple passports. The different names associated with him include Muddannola Laxmikanth, Medha Prasoon Kumar Reddy, Medha Prasoonkumar Reddy, and Mothukpalli Lakshmikanth Reddy.

Police apprehended the accused on Friday around 8 p.m. following standard procedural protocols. During the operation, officers seized several passport-related documents alongside electronic devices, including an iPhone 15 Pro and an iPad. He is currently being produced before a local court.

Investigators are continuing their probe by verifying the biometric records, international travel history, and original passport application files of the accused. The police are also examining his electronic communications and checking for the potential involvement of intermediaries or passport brokers who may have assisted in obtaining the fraudulent travel documents.
