Gachibowli Police Arrest Man for Multiple Passports After US Consulate Complaint

The Gachibowli police have arrested a man identified as M Lakshmikanth Reddy for allegedly obtaining multiple Indian passports under different names using forged residential certificates.
The enforcement action was initiated following a formal complaint lodged by the US Consulate General. Subsequent verification and investigation by the police revealed that separate passports had been issued under two different names, M Lakshmikanth and Medha Prasoon Kumar Reddy, both allegedly linked to the same individual.
According to police officials, the suspect allegedly relied on fabricated and forged residence certificates to process and secure the travel documents under alternating identities.
The Gachibowli police are continuing their investigation into the case. Officials are currently probing the exact circumstances and channels through which the forged documentation was procured, while also examining whether the suspect used these dual identities for other activities.
