FTCCI Elects Krishna Kumar Maheshwari as President and Srinivas Garimella as SVP

The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) in Hyderabad elected Krishna Kumar Maheshwari as its new President during a general body meeting held on Wednesday. The industry body, which is one of India’s oldest, also elected Srinivas Garimella as its Senior Vice President at the same meeting.
Maheshwari, the newly elected President, is the chairman and managing director of CIL Securities. CIL Securities is a diversified financial services company that offers a range of services, including acting as registrars and share transfer agents, merchant bankers, and depository participants.
Speaking on his election and future plans, Maheshwari outlined his key priorities for his tenure. He stated that his primary focus will be on strengthening industry-government engagement, supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and promoting investments. He also emphasized the importance of fostering innovation and enhancing the global competitiveness of businesses operating in Telangana, while continuing to serve as a strong voice for the industry to achieve inclusive and sustainable growth.
Srinivas Garimella, who will serve alongside Maheshwari as Senior Vice President, brings a diverse background to the leadership role. Garimella is a director and strategic advisor at HETC Foods, a company dealing with sprouting research and food science. Additionally, he is the chairman of Daifuku Intralogistics India, which is the Indian subsidiary of the Japanese multinational company Daifuku.
Garimella expressed his commitment to advancing the goals of the industry body under the new leadership. He noted that FTCCI will continue to support businesses of all sizes, encourage innovation, and nurture startups. Furthermore, Garimella highlighted plans to strengthen skill development initiatives and create new opportunities for future-ready industries.
