Fresh Bus Clears Pending Hyderabad Challans After Crash Kills Six in Suryapet

The management of Fresh Bus Travels cleared two pending traffic challans in Hyderabad shortly after a fatal accident involving its bus killed six passengers at Dorakunda in Suryapet district.

The bus, bearing registration number TS08UL5112, had two pending challans registered against it in Hyderabad for wrong parking and for violating a bus entry restriction. The outstanding penalties amounted to Rs 2,635. Records indicate the dues were cleared online within hours following the fatal collision.

The accident occurred while the passenger bus was travelling on its scheduled route from Hyderabad to Eluru.

Following the incident, Fresh Bus issued a statement on X saying the company was deeply saddened by the accident involving its vehicle. The operator stated that its team was actively working with local authorities and hospitals to provide necessary care and assistance to those affected, adding that it would continue to share verified updates as more information became available.
