Foxconn and Tata Motors Hire 99 Out of 100 ITI Applicants in Utnoor

Ninety-nine out of 100 applicants at the government's upgraded ITI-Advanced Technology Centre (ATC) in the tribal area of Utnoor, Adilabad district, have secured jobs with multinational corporations during a campus recruitment drive. Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced the milestone on Saturday, highlighting the success of the state's initiative to transform industrial training institutes.

The recruitment drive saw major global companies, including Tata Motors and Foxconn, hiring almost the entire batch of applicants from the Utnoor facility. This high placement rate represents a 99 percent success rate for the local candidates who participated in the campus drive.

According to Chief Minister Reddy, the success of the recruitment drive is a direct result of the state government's 'TelanganaRising' 2047 vision. Under this initiative, the state government is actively upgrading traditional Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) into Advanced Technology Centres (ATCs) to equip the state's youth with modern, industry-relevant skills.

Speaking on the development, Reddy stated that Telangana is on track to emerge as the country's hub for the best-skilled blue-collar employees in the economy. He noted that the transition of ITIs into ATCs has successfully attracted some of the world's leading multinational corporations to conduct campus hiring drives in the state, even in remote and tribal regions like Utnoor.

The Chief Minister shared these details on Saturday in response to media reports highlighting the successful recruitment drive in Adilabad district. He emphasized that the 'TelanganaRising' 2047 vision aims to continuously create a highly skilled workforce capable of meeting global industry standards. The state government expects that these upgraded ATCs will continue to drive economic growth and secure major employment opportunities for youth across all districts of Telangana.
