Fourth Edition of Design Democracy to Be Held at Hyderabad's HITEX from September 18 to 20

Design festival Design Democracy has announced the fourth edition of its flagship event, scheduled to take place at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad from September 18 to September 20.

The upcoming festival will feature a wide range of programming, including curated exhibitions, DD Talks, and DD Focus. According to the organisers, the gathering will bring together more than 150 architects, designers, artists, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders to engage in keynote sessions and panel discussions exploring the future of design.

This year’s edition introduces a lineup of curated exhibitions highlighting different aspects of design and innovation. Among these is the 'Museum of Telangana', curated by Supraja Rao of Design House. The event will also feature the 'Gallery of Sustainability', curated by Jasem Pirani and Huzefa Rangwala of MuseLab, as well as 'Precious Objects', curated by Monika Choudhary and Sarah Choudhary of Habitat Architects.

In addition to the exhibition spaces, the festival will host panel discussions and keynote sessions under the DD Talks and DD Focus banners. Prominent speakers participating in the event include Alfaz Miller, Ravinder Reddy, Sandeep Khosla, Ankon Mitra, and Sussanne Khan, among other industry figures.

Reflecting on the platform's journey, Design Democracy co-founder Pallika Sreewastav spoke about the core vision behind the annual festival.

“Design Democracy was born from a simple belief that great design has the power to inspire, connect, and bring people together,” Sreewastav said. “Over the years, it has grown into a platform where ideas are exchanged, collaborations are forged, and creativity is celebrated.”

The fourth edition at the HITEX Exhibition Centre aims to continue this momentum, offering an interactive venue where design professionals, creatives, and industry experts can exchange ideas and collaborate.
