Four-year-old boy run over and killed by mini truck in Hyderabad's Bholakpur

A four-year-old boy died after being run over by a mini truck in Bholakpur, under the Musheerabad police station limits in Hyderabad, on Saturday. The deceased child has been identified by the police as Sri Hansh.

According to the police, the incident occurred when the young boy was returning home from a nearby shop. Sri Hansh had accompanied his mother to the shop and was walking a short distance behind her on their way back when the accident took place.

The police stated that a mini truck was taking a U-turn at a three-way junction in the area. As the vehicle was entering another lane, the child unexpectedly came in front of the mini truck. The driver of the vehicle allegedly failed to notice the boy, which resulted in the child being run over by the front wheel of the truck.

The vehicle involved in the accident was reportedly being driven by a man identified as Ayub.

Following the accident, local residents rushed the injured child to a nearby hospital. However, doctors at the medical facility declared the four-year-old boy dead.
