Four labourers arrested for beating unidentified man to death in Pallecheruvu godown

The Mailardevpally police have arrested four labourers in Hyderabad for allegedly beating an unidentified man to death on the night of June 24. The fatal incident occurred inside a godown located at Swastik Shiva Decorators in the Pallecheruvu area, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Mailardevpally police station.

The four arrested individuals have been identified by the police as Balaji, aged 39, Nayan Mandal, aged 23, Uttam Bera alias Pintu, aged 35, and Prem Parihar, aged 26. All four worked as labourers at the facility where the crime took place.

According to the Mailardevpally police, a preliminary investigation into the case revealed that the conflict began around midnight on June 24. An unidentified man, who was believed to be under the influence of alcohol, entered the Swastik Shiva Decorators godown. The labourers noticed the man moving about the premises in a suspicious manner and immediately intercepted him to ask what he was doing there.

During the confrontation, the man reportedly failed to provide a satisfactory explanation for why he had entered the godown at that hour. The police stated that the intruder also allegedly behaved aggressively toward the labourers when they questioned him.

Following the aggressive encounter, the four labourers allegedly proceeded to assault the man. They then confined him inside the godown premises. The unidentified man later succumbed to the injuries he sustained during the beating and died inside the decorator's godown.

After being alerted to the situation, the Mailardevpally police arrived at the Swastik Shiva Decorators godown in Pallecheruvu. Officers found the body of the deceased man inside the premises. The police estimated that the victim was between 30 and 35 years of age.

A thorough search was conducted, but no identification documents were found on the deceased man's person, making it impossible to immediately identify him. Following the recovery of the body, the police arrested Balaji, Nayan Mandal, Uttam Bera, and Prem Parihar.
