Four Arrested With 3.270 Kg Ganja in Hyderabad's Nacharam

Prohibition and Excise department officials seized 3.270 kg of ganja and arrested four individuals during a special enforcement raid conducted at Durga Nagar in Nacharam on Wednesday.
Acting on specific intelligence, a team led by Assistant Excise Superintendent (AES) Sri Ram Nivedita carried out inspections in the Durga Nagar locality. During the operation, the enforcement sleuths intercepted the suspects and recovered the contraband from their possession.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Imtiyaz Ahmed, 27, Vizza Shivakumar, 23, Masood Shaik, 19, and Raghupani Mogi Anand, 19. Officials confiscated the entire quantity of 3.270 kg of ganja found with the group.
Following the apprehension and seizure, the four suspects were handed over to the Nacharam Excise Police Station for further legal proceedings, according to Malkajgiri Assistant Commissioner of Excise Pradeep Rao.
Excise department officials stated that a detailed investigation is currently underway. Authorities are actively working to trace the original source of the seized contraband and identify any other individuals or networks connected to the supply and distribution chain.
