Four Arrested in Begum Bazar for Illegal Sale of Bodybuilding Injections

The Hyderabad Task Force's Golconda unit and the Goshamahal Police arrested four persons on Friday in Begum Bazar for allegedly procuring, supplying, selling, and consuming Mephentermine Sulphate injections used for bodybuilding.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Gowtham Singh, R Abhilash, Siddesh Aundekar, and Daksh Upadhyay. Officers intercepted the four accused in Begum Bazar while they were allegedly attempting to sell the injections to customers.
According to police, Gowtham allegedly procured the Mephentermine Sulphate injections from a supplier based in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, at a rate of Rs 160 per vial. He then sold the vials to customers for Rs 900 each with the assistance of Abhilash.
During the operation, police seized 50 vials of Mephentermine Sulphate, along with insulin injections, empty vials, and mobile phones. The total value of the seized material is estimated at Rs 1.85 lakh.
The Goshamahal Police have registered a case and are continuing their investigation into the illicit supply network.
