Former Minister T Harish Rao Placed Under House Arrest in Kokapet

Police placed former Telangana minister and BRS leader T Harish Rao under house arrest at his residence in Kokapet on Wednesday. The move came after the leader called for a visit to the Sanath Nagar TIMS Hospital.

Along with Harish Rao, fellow BRS leaders Sabitha Indra Reddy and Talasani Srinivas Yadav were taken into preventive custody by the police.

A significant deployment of police personnel was stationed outside Harish Rao's Kokapet residence to prevent him from leaving the premises.

Police personnel stopped the BRS leaders from proceeding with their planned visit to the Sanath Nagar TIMS Hospital, stating that permission had not been granted for them to enter the medical facility.
