Food Safety Officials Seize Misbranded Items at Pista House in Gachibowli

Food Safety Officers from the Telangana State Food Safety Department inspected the Pista House outlet in Gachibowli on Saturday and seized misbranded food items valued at approximately Rs 17,500.

The inspection was carried out as part of an ongoing enforcement initiative by TGSAFE Food Safety Officers to identify violations and enforce compliance with food safety regulations across food establishments.

During the check, officials inspected the storage area and uncovered multiple alleged misbranding violations. The team confiscated 15 kg of cashew nuts, 24 kg of dry noodles, and 5 kg of potato chips.

In addition to the seizure, the inspection team collected samples of Masqati Ghee and Vangal Paneer from the premises. These food samples have been sent for laboratory analysis to determine whether they meet prescribed food safety standards.

Officials stated that the enforcement drive will continue across food establishments to monitor adherence to safety regulations and standards.
