Fisherman Dies, Three Rescued After Boat Capsizes in Srikakulam

A 59-year-old fisherman died and three others were rescued after their boat capsized near Gedduru in Mandasa mandal of Srikakulam district.

The incident occurred while the group was returning after completing a fishing trip in the area.

According to reports, four fishermen were aboard the vessel when the accident occurred. Three of the fishermen managed to escape safely from the capsized boat. However, one fisherman, identified as 59-year-old Vanka Yadava Rao, lost his life in the mishap.

Upon receiving information regarding the incident, local MLA Gauthu Sirisha reached the spot to assess the situation and expressed deep grief over the death of the fisherman.
