Fire in Hydershakote Apartment Cellar Damages Six Two-Wheelers

A fire broke out in the cellar of an apartment complex at Hydershakote in Hyderabad early on Monday, damaging six two-wheelers parked on the premises. Officials confirmed that no injuries or casualties occurred during the incident.

The fire department received an emergency alert at 4:28 am. In response, one fire engine from the Langer Houz fire station was dispatched to the apartment complex, and firefighters managed to bring the blaze completely under control by 5:40 am.

According to Langer Houz Station Fire Officer M Mahesh, two of the vehicles were completely gutted in the fire, while four others sustained partial damage. A video circulating on social media showed at least three two-wheelers engulfed in flames before the fire was extinguished.

The exact cause of the fire has not yet been established. Officials are currently looking into various possibilities, including technical faults and foul play.

"Some residents said the fire could have been caused by a short circuit, but this is being investigated. We are also examining the possibility that someone may have deliberately started the fire," SFO Mahesh said.

A case has been registered at the Narsingi police station, and an investigation into the incident is underway. Following the operation, fire personnel thoroughly inspected the cellar and adjacent areas to ensure the flames were fully put out and posed no lingering threat to residents or property.
