Fire breaks out at Swapnalok Complex in Secunderabad

A fire broke out at the Swapnalok Complex in Secunderabad on Thursday afternoon, causing panic among the occupants of the commercial building. Emergency responders successfully evacuated the premises and brought the blaze under control within two hours, with no casualties reported.
The incident began in the afternoon when a fire started inside a shop located on the first floor of the building. The sudden outbreak of smoke and flames triggered panic among the people present inside the commercial complex at the time.
Upon being alerted to the situation, personnel from the local police department and the fire department rushed to the scene.
To ensure the safety of everyone inside, the local police immediately began evacuating people from the premises as a precautionary measure. Meanwhile, firefighters entered the building and worked their way to the first-floor shop where the blaze had originated.
The firefighting operation faced challenges due to thick smoke that quickly spread through the area. According to reports, the thick smoke accumulated following a suspected short circuit, which is believed to have triggered the fire.
Despite the heavy smoke and difficult conditions, the firefighters managed to contain the flames. The fire was completely brought under control within two hours of the emergency teams arriving at the spot.
No injuries or casualties were reported in the incident, and the building was successfully cleared.
