FIR Booked in Madhapur Over Misuse of HMWSSB Name on Cleaning Vehicle

An FIR has been registered at the Madhapur Police Station after a private vehicle allegedly operated sludge and septage cleaning services using the name and logo of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board without authorisation.

According to a press release issued on Friday, the vehicle bearing registration number TG08V6294 belongs to AG Septic Tank Cleaner PVT. Ltd. The vehicle was found offering cleaning operations while displaying the official identity of the Water Board.

Water Board authorities stated that the unauthorised use of its name and logo had the potential to mislead citizens. Officials subsequently brought the matter to the attention of law enforcement, prompting the Madhapur police to lodge a formal complaint and initiate legal proceedings.

The Water Board has cautioned the public against individuals, companies, or vehicles claiming to offer services under its official identity without proper permission. Officials urged citizens to report any similar occurrences to the police or the Water Board immediately, warning that strict action will be taken against anyone misusing its identity.
