Family of Four Dies as Car Falls into Well in Siddipet's Dubbaka Mandal

A couple and their two young children died after the car they were travelling in plunged into an open well at Appanapalle village in Dubbaka mandal of Siddipet district on Wednesday night.
The victims have been identified by the police as Dandugula Raju, aged 30, his wife Bhagya, aged 25, their four-year-old son Nihansh, and their two-year-old daughter Sanvika. All four victims were residents of Balvanthapur village, located within Dubbaka mandal.
According to police officials, the family was on its way back home from Siddipet when the fatal accident took place. The vehicle veered off its path and fell directly into the roadside well during the journey.
Upon receiving information about the incident, local police personnel rushed to the scene to initiate rescue and retrieval operations. The depth and conditions of the well made immediate recovery challenging, prompting police to seek the assistance of fire-fighters and emergency personnel.
The emergency teams subsequently deployed an earth mover at the site to pull the vehicle and recover the bodies from the water.
Following the retrieval operation, the bodies of the four family members were shifted and preserved at the government hospital in Dubbaka for post-mortem examinations.
The police have registered a case under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). An investigation is currently underway to ascertain the exact circumstances and cause that led to the vehicle falling into the well.
