Ex-Army Man Killed, Two Injured in Hydershakote Hit-and-Run

A 47-year-old ex-Army person was killed on the spot and two other individuals were injured in a fatal hit-and-run collision in Hydershakote on Monday morning, August 10, 2026. The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. when a car allegedly driven on the wrong route struck three two-wheelers.

The deceased victim was identified as Ravinder, a former Subedar. The two injured riders were admitted to a hospital for medical treatment following the impact.

According to preliminary findings by the police, there were four occupants inside the car at the time of the crash. Following the collision, the occupants abandoned the vehicle, which had sustained damage in the accident, and fled the scene.

Following the incident, a case was registered at the Narsingi police station. Police officials stated that further investigation into the hit-and-run case is currently ongoing.
