Ethiopian girl, 13, dies mid-air on flight to Hyderabad for cancer treatment

A 13-year-old girl from Ethiopia, who was traveling to Hyderabad for cancer treatment, died mid-air on board an Ethiopian Airlines flight. The incident occurred before the aircraft landed at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport around 1:00 AM on Saturday.
According to the local police, the teenager had been battling cancer for the last three years. She was traveling to the city to undergo treatment for her illness. However, she passed away while the flight was still airborne.
Upon the plane's arrival at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at 1:00 AM on Saturday, the young passenger was immediately shifted to a health facility located within the airport.
At the airport health facility, medical professionals examined the teenager. The doctors subsequently confirmed that she had died on board the aircraft during the flight.
The local police on Saturday confirmed the details of the mid-air death. The 13-year-old girl had been fighting cancer for three years and was flying to Hyderabad specifically to receive medical care, but she passed away before the flight could reach its destination.
