Electrician Killed and Pillion Rider Injured in Bachupally Flyover Bike Crash

A 25-year-old electrician was killed and his 23-year-old co-worker suffered grievous injuries when the motorcycle they were riding crashed into a road median on a flyover in Bachupally on Monday. The Bachupally police, who are currently handling the case, suspect that overspeeding was the main factor that led to the fatal accident on the flyover.
The deceased victim was identified by the police as Shiva Sai Pavan, a 25-year-old resident of Renuka Yellamma Colony in Bachupally. Shiva Sai Pavan was employed as an electrician at the Urban Rise Apartments. He was a native of Pallamalli village, which is located in the Chimakurthy mandal of the Ongole district in the neighboring state of Andhra Pradesh.
The pillion rider who sustained serious injuries in the crash was identified as Uma Prasad, aged 23. Like the deceased, Uma Prasad also worked as an electrician. He is currently residing in HMT Colony, which is situated in Miyapur. He is a native of Pallypalam village, located in the Thallarevu mandal of the Kakinada district in Andhra Pradesh.
Following the crash on the flyover, the Bachupally police arrived at the spot to manage the situation. The police shifted the injured Uma Prasad to a hospital for immediate medical treatment. Meanwhile, the body of Shiva Sai Pavan was sent to a local hospital for an autopsy.
The Bachupally police have officially launched an investigation into the incident. The police are currently conducting inquiries to ascertain the exact cause of the accident and to determine the circumstances that led to the motorcycle hitting the road median on the flyover.
