Election Officials Review Voter Enumeration Progress in Serilingampally and Hyderabad

On Sunday, Telangana Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudharshan Reddy and Hyderabad District Electoral Officer R.V. Karnan inspected the progress of voter enumeration and digitization for SIR-2026 across Serilingampally, Nampally, Chandrayangutta, and Bahadurpura. The senior election officials conducted field reviews to assess the ongoing voter registration activities and ensure adherence to the Election Commission of India schedule.

In the Serilingampally constituency of Rangareddy district, Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudharshan Reddy reviewed the enumeration activities. He was accompanied during the inspection by Rangareddy District Collector Narayana Reddy and Serilingampally Zonal Commissioner Narayan Amit Malempati of the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation.

During the review, the officials focused on the accuracy of the enumeration process and the need for effective coordination among field-level staff. The Chief Electoral Officer directed the local team to expedite the remaining work to ensure the successful and timely completion of the process.

Simultaneously, Hyderabad District Electoral Officer R.V. Karnan, who also serves as the GHMC commissioner, inspected the distribution of enumeration forms and the subsequent digitization process. His inspections covered the Nampally, Chandrayangutta, and Bahadurpura Assembly segments in Hyderabad.

Karnan reviewed the progress of various field-level activities and held interactions with Assistant Electoral Registration Officers, Booth Level Officers, and their supervisors. During these interactions, he assessed both the pace and the quality of the digitization of forms collected from electors.

Following the assessment, the District Electoral Officer instructed the election officials to speed up the digitization work. He emphasized that accuracy and quality must be maintained while ensuring that all activities are completed on time in accordance with the schedule set by the Election Commission of India.
