Education Department Invites Applications for 22 Lecturer Posts in Domalguda

The School Education Department has officially invited online applications from eligible in-service school assistants in physical education to fill 22 vacant lecturer positions on deputation at the Government College of Physical Education in Domalguda, Hyderabad. The online application window will open on August 17 and remain active through August 27. Applicants who need to make corrections or updates to their submitted details will be provided an edit option on August 28.

As per the official notification issued by the department, the deputation for these posts is purely temporary. Selected candidates will serve in these lecturer roles for a period of one year or until regular appointments are made, whichever occurs earlier. Candidates applying for these positions must pay an application fee of Rs 500 when submitting their forms online.

To be considered eligible, candidates must satisfy specific service and academic requirements. Applicants are required to have completed at least five years of regular service as school assistants in physical education, along with a minimum of three years of residual service remaining. Educationally, candidates must hold a Master of Physical Education (MPEd) degree with at least 55 per cent marks. The notification clearly specifies that individuals currently facing disciplinary or criminal proceedings are ineligible to apply.

The department will shortlist candidates in a 1:3 ratio for the selection process. Final candidate selection will be based on academic qualifications, service experience, an interview conducted in English, classroom teaching performance, sports or games coaching skills, and mass physical activity demonstrations.
