EAGLE Team Detains Drug Peddler at HCU, Conducts Campus Ganja Tests

Sleuths from the EAGLE Team conducted raids at Hyderabad Central University (HCU) in Hyderabad, detaining a peddler for allegedly bringing ganja from Assam and selling it to students on campus.

The EAGLE team carried out the operation in the morning following information that a few students were allegedly indulging in the consumption of ganja.

During the raid, the team conducted ganja tests on two dozen students, with tests confirming positive results among students examined during the drive.

Investigators are collecting further details from the detained peddler to establish the full modus operandi adopted in transporting the contraband from Assam to Hyderabad.
