Dr Kanike Priyanka Post-Mortem Conducted at Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad

The post-mortem examination of 29-year-old Dr Kanike Priyanka was conducted at Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad on Monday, following her death at KIMS Hospital on Sunday. Dr Priyanka passed away nearly a week after sustaining grievous injuries when she was run over by a car driven by two allegedly drunk youths in Rajamahendravaram on August 3.

Her last rites will be performed at Eklaspur village in Aiza mandal of Jogulamba Gadwal district. A pall of gloom descended over Dr Priyanka’s native district following the tragic news.

Several public representatives met the family to offer their support. Minister Vakiti Srihari and Rajahmundry Urban MLA Srinivas met Dr Priyanka’s father and offered their condolences to the bereaved family.

Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, Gadwal MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy, and many others are set to attend the final rites in her native village.
