DJ Ganesh Praises Kondapur Nightclub Scene and Shares Journey to Bollywood Fame

Bollywood DJ Ganesh has praised Hyderabad's nightlife and named Quake Arena in Kondapur as one of the best nightclubs in India during a reflection on his career journey from a teenage sound helper to a celebrity performer.

Ganesh, who frequently visits the city, noted that Hyderabad possesses some of the finest nightclubs in the country and has a larger audience of Bollywood music listeners than any other city in India. He also shared that his personal routine when visiting the city includes taking afternoon flights specifically to ensure he can enjoy local Andhra food for lunch.

His entry into the music industry began at the age of 18 when he worked in minor roles as a sound vendor and sound helper. Inspired by watching residency DJs performing in clubs, he decided to pursue professional DJing. Since then, he has secured opportunities to play at Bollywood parties for prominent industry figures including Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan.

Despite his years of experience, Ganesh admitted that performing for celebrities still brings excitement and nervousness. He explained that seeing his favorite stars on the dance floor gives him goosebumps, adding that performing for them is a task because they are highly particular about music, requiring him to study what films they have done and what songs they like.

Among his most notable performances was the wedding celebrations of actors Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra in Jaisalmer. During their Sangeet night, Ganesh played a surprise mashup of their own songs, which he described as an unforgettable moment that made the couple happy.

Another major milestone in his career occurred during the red-carpet premiere and afterparty of "The Ba***ds of Bollywood" in Mumbai. Ganesh prepared a remix of "Tu Pehli Tu Aakhri" beforehand, which caught the attention of Aryan Khan. Khan requested it to be made into an official remix, leading to a collaboration with international American musician and DJ Kshmr. The track became the first official Netflix series remix by an Indian DJ.

Despite his high-profile clientele, Ganesh emphasized that he treats all clients equally, aiming to make everyone feel like a celebrity on their special day. He stated that his approach is always about making people happy and creating a memorable night.
