Director M.S. Raju's Telugu Horror Thriller 'Agadha' Released in Theatres

Director M.S. Raju's latest Telugu mystery and horror thriller, 'Agadha', released in theatres on August 14, bringing a new supernatural mythology to the big screen with an 'A' certification and a runtime of 2 hours and 17 minutes.
The film stars Sai Kamakshi Bhaskarla in the central role of Mahadevi, alongside a cast featuring Ulka Gupta, Shravan Reddy, Roshan Basheer, and Jovika Vijayakumar.
The narrative follows Mahadevi, a spiritually gifted woman who embarks on a quest to investigate a series of unexplained deaths following the mysterious suicide of her cousin, Mahima. Joined by a writer named Manasa and her boyfriend, Mahadevi travels into a forbidden forest cave where she encounters a powerful dark entity called Agadha. As the investigation progresses, Mahadevi's spiritual gifts and the circumstances surrounding Mahima's demise begin to intertwine, revealing a broader supernatural mythology.
Sai Kamakshi Bhaskarla leads the production as Mahadevi, depicting a woman grappling with her emerging powers. Shravan Reddy portrays a character possessed by an evil spirit, while Jovika Vijayakumar takes on a darker role with unsettling intensity.
The production relies on computer-generated visual effects to establish its supernatural world and build an eerie atmosphere across its two-hour runtime.
