Dil Raju Highlights ₹2,000 Crore Target for Yash's Toxic at Hyderabad Event

Film producer and distributor Dil Raju addressed the commercial potential and high expectations surrounding the upcoming movie Toxic, starring Yash, during the film's pre-release event in Hyderabad. Speaking to the large crowd in attendance alongside the film's core team, Raju expressed confidence that the project would secure a powerful opening in Hyderabad, drawing comparisons to the theatrical reception seen previously with the movie Animal.

A central focus of Raju's address was the ambitious financial benchmark associated with the production. Raju revealed that the film's music composer, Vishal Chandrasekhar, has predicted that Toxic will surpass ₹2,000 crore in total revenue. Raju stated that he hopes the composer's forecast proves true, while acknowledging that such astronomical figures naturally escalate audience expectations and place considerable pressure on the film to deliver a massive theatrical opening.

Reaching a global milestone of ₹2,000 crore will require an exceptionally strong first day and wide-scale momentum across all major theatrical markets. While the project features large visual scale, the directorship of Geethu Mohandas, and the established pan-Indian appeal of Yash following the success of the KGF franchise, the ultimate reception of its content remains the critical factor for its box office performance.

The film reportedly incorporates a substantial amount of mature and adult content. Industry observers note that these mature themes could potentially affect attendance numbers among family audiences. Consequently, the movie will depend heavily on unanimous positive feedback from adult moviegoers to sustain long-term box office momentum across regions.

Dil Raju, who is handling the Telugu theatrical release of Toxic, also took the opportunity at the Hyderabad gathering to commend KVN Productions for mounting the project on a grand scale. The production team now faces the task of translating extensive promotional buzz and unprecedented box office projections into actual ticket sales upon the film's worldwide release.
