DGP CV Anand Meets Former Maoists in Mulugu, Distributes Reward Cheques

Director-General of Police CV Anand interacted with former Maoists during a visit to Mulugu district to address their representations regarding various grievances. The discussions covered key issues facing the former cadres, including housing, legal assistance, employment opportunities, and financial support.
During the interaction, Anand assured the former Maoists that their concerns would be formally taken up with the state government and that all possible assistance would be extended to them. He emphasized the government's willingness to support their transition into mainstream life.
Anand informed the former cadres that authorities are prepared to provide necessary skill development training to help them gain employment and build a stable future. In turn, he urged them to refrain from any suspicious or unlawful activities and called on them to reintegrate fully into society.
As part of the rehabilitation initiative, health cards were distributed to the participants during the occasion. Additionally, Anand handed over cheques for reward money to recently surrendered Maoist cadres in accordance with the state government's surrender and rehabilitation policy.
