Danam Nagender Warns Housing Officials Over Indiramma Towers Draw in Banjara Hills

Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender expressed strong anger at Housing Department officials for conducting the lucky draw for Indiramma Towers beneficiaries at Kumram Bheem Adivasi Bhavan in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, without waiting for his arrival on Saturday.

Officials commenced and completed the draw of lots to identify beneficiaries for the Indiramma Towers housing project before the legislator reached the venue. The move prompted sharp criticism from Nagender, who questioned the handling of official protocol in the constituency.

In a video circulating on social media, Nagender questioned the purpose of having an elected MLA if protocol was ignored by administrative authorities. Asking officials whether they had any respect for the MLA while making announcements and conducting official draws, he warned that he would serve a privilege notice over the incident.

Following the draw, the MLA appealed to applicants who were not selected in the draw of lots to approach his office directly. Nagender told the attendees that he would ensure house allotments to all those who came to him before leaving the venue.
