Cyient Launches Intelligent Engineering Solutions Unit in Hyderabad to Expand AI

Hyderabad-based engineering services company Cyient Limited announced on Tuesday that it has established a new integrated business unit, Intelligent Engineering Solutions (IES). The unit is designed to accelerate technology-led growth and expand the application of artificial intelligence across lifecycle engineering.

The new business division will be led by Harjott Atrii, Cyient's Chief Business Officer. Under his leadership, the unit will combine industrial data, engineering domain expertise, and business context through a platform-led artificial intelligence operating model.

The initiative is anchored by CYiNGINE, Cyient's proprietary lifecycle engineering intelligence platform. The company stated that the platform will bridge technology capabilities with measurable outcomes for clients across planning, design, manufacturing, operations, and service.

Cyient explained that CYiNGINE brings together governed industrial data, domain knowledge, and modern AI alongside large language model capabilities to embed intelligence directly into day-to-day engineering workflows.

To execute its strategy, the IES unit will implement three reusable AI-enabled playbooks covering engineering, service, and quality and regulatory lifecycles.

According to the company, these playbooks are structured to speed up design and change cycles, improve first-time-right performance, and increase the reuse of engineering intellectual property. They are also aimed at improving asset availability, reducing unplanned outages, and supporting faster compliance and certification across client operations.
