Cyberabad Police Prohibit Gatherings Near PG Entrance Exam Centres on Sunday

Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dr. M. Ramesh has issued prohibitory orders barring the gathering of five or more people within a 200-meter radius of all examination centres across the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate for the PG Entrance Examination 2026 scheduled on Sunday.
The commissioner issued an official order to this effect in Hyderabad on Saturday. According to the directive, the restrictions will remain in force between 6 am and 6 pm on Sunday across all examination centres under the jurisdiction of the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.
Under the newly issued regulations, all photocopy centres and internet centres located within a 100-meter radius of the examination venues are required to remain closed during the specified hours on Sunday.
The order specifies exemptions for essential and official duties. Police officers, military personnel, home guards, and the flying squad of the education department who are on duty are exempt from the restrictions. In addition, funeral processions have also been exempted from the operation of the order.
The Cyberabad Police informed the public that anyone found violating the prohibitory order will be liable for prosecution under the relevant sections of the law.
