Cyberabad Police Help Doctor Reach NEET-PG Centre on Time Amid Gachibowli Traffic

Raidurgam police stepped in to assist a 24-year-old doctor on Sunday after he was caught in heavy traffic at Gachibowli while attempting to reach his NEET-PG entrance examination centre during the Hyderabad Marathon.

The candidate, identified as Dr Burma Vikas, a resident of Kompally, was on his way to Narayanamma Engineering College in Shaikpet to take the entrance test when his vehicle got stuck in severe traffic congestion caused by the marathon route.

Following directions from Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dr M. Ramesh, local officers moved swiftly to facilitate the candidate's journey. Raidurgam Inspector Bhoopathi along with Traffic Police Reserve Inspector Hanmireddy coordinated the effort and arranged a police patrol car to transport Dr Vikas directly to the venue.

Police confirmed that the candidate arrived at the examination centre within 15 minutes of the intervention, well before the commencement of the exam.

According to officials, the emergency assistance was extended as part of broader traffic management and public facilitation measures deployed across the area during the marathon to prevent disruption for commuters and students.
