Cyberabad Officials Review 334 Road Infra Projects and Identify 245 Damaged Stretches

Cyberabad Police Commissioner M Ramesh and Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner G Srijana chaired the Cyberabad Convergence Meeting in Hyderabad on Monday to review 334 road infrastructure projects across Cyberabad. The high-level meeting brought together key representatives from the Hyderabad traffic police, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB), HYDRAA, and heads of various other line departments to address critical traffic, infrastructure, and monsoon-related issues.

During the coordination session, officials identified 245 damaged road stretches across Cyberabad for immediate recarpeting and pothole filling. The joint committee focused on resolving traffic bottlenecks, upgrading pedestrian safety measures, and evaluating civic infrastructure across the locality.

In addition to road surface repairs, participating departments reviewed progress on several pending civil engineering works. These included pending construction on 25 Foot-over-Bridges, 53 footpath and junction works, and 13 road-widening proposals aimed at enhancing mobility throughout the region.

Signage, illumination, and encroachment removals were also prioritized. Authorities reviewed 65 signboard and illumination works alongside nine road encroachment locations marked for immediate field action.

To prepare for heavy rains, officials reviewed 85 waterlogging vulnerable points. All departments concerned were directed to initiate field-level execution immediately, adhere strictly to defined timelines, and ensure visible improvements in road infrastructure, pedestrian safety, traffic management, and monsoon preparedness across Cyberabad.
