Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Registers 66 Citizen Grievances at Prajavani

The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) received and registered 66 public grievances from local citizens during the Prajavani program conducted on Monday. The civic grievance redressal event was held at the CMC head office in Hyderabad, allowing residents to present their issues directly to the administration.
During the program, citizens brought their grievances directly before CMC Commissioner G Srijana and the respective heads of departments. Commissioner Srijana interacted with the visiting citizens, reviewed the specific issues they raised, and directed the concerned departments to examine each grievance to ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
An analysis of the 66 grievances received during Monday's session revealed that the town planning sector was the primary area of concern for local residents. A total of 51 grievances were related to town planning. The engineering wing received the second-highest number of complaints, with eight grievances registered.
Other administrative areas received a smaller number of complaints from the public. The sanitation department and the urban biodiversity department received two grievances each. Additionally, single grievances were registered for the electrical department, the revenue department concerning property tax, and the election department.
To ensure accountability and allow citizens to monitor the progress of their submissions, the municipal corporation registered each grievance with a unique tracking ID. Along with this ID, citizens were provided with a tracking link, enabling them to track the status of their complaints as the departments work toward resolving them.
